AceShowbiz - On Sunday, November 3, Ben Ford, the 58-year-old son of 82-year-old Harrison Ford, reposted a clip of his father's endorsement of Harris on social media. In the clip, the Oscar-nominated actor expressed his admiration for Harris and her running mate, Governor Tim Walz.
Harrison emphasized his belief in their commitment to the rule of law, science, and governing for all Americans. He also criticized former President Donald Trump, accusing him of dividing the country and embracing dictators.
"We don't need to make America great again - we are great," Harrison asserted. "All we need is to work together again."
In the clip, Harrison cited the endorsements of former Trump administration officials as a sign of Harris's credibility. He declared, "I've got one vote, same as anyone else, and I'm going to use it to move forward. I'm going to vote for Kamala Harris."
Ben Ford has also been actively involved in supporting the Harris-Walz campaign. This past August, he participated in the "Cooking for Kamala" livestream event, which featured prominent chefs discussing recipes and election-related topics.
Harrison's endorsement adds to a growing list of celebrities who have thrown their support behind Harris, including Mark Hamill, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and Bruce Springsteen.
Harrison is the father of five children, including Ben, Willard (with Mary Marquardt), Malcolm and Georgia (with Melissa Mathison), and Liam (adopted with Calista Flockhart).
