AceShowbiz - Queen Elizabeth II will have a small role in the upcoming "Paddington 3" movie. The late monarch will be featured in a photograph showing her enjoying afternoon tea with Paddington Bear. The scene was originally part of a video filmed for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June 2022.

The royal family reportedly approved the use of the footage, with producer Rosie Alison stating that they were "actually very happy for it to happen." The film's head of global productions, Ron Halpern, confirmed that the cameo was made "with the consent and agreement of the royal household."

The late Queen had a playful relationship with the entertainment world, including her memorable appearance in a James Bond sketch during the London Olympics in 2012. Her cameo in "Paddington 3" will serve as a touching tribute to her legacy.

"Paddington in Peru" is set to be released in UK.. theaters on November 8, and in the U.S. on January 17, 2025. The film also stars Olivia Colman, who plays the Reverend Mother, and Hugh Bonneville and Imelda Staunton, who reprise their roles as Mr. and Aunt Lucy Brown.
