Unrecognizable in her transformative prosthetics and makeup, Klum channeled the beloved alien in the famous scene where he wears a hat, wig and skirt while playing dress-up with Drew Barrymore's character, Gertie.

Husband Tom Kaulitz joined her as E.T. without the clothes, their eerie eyes peering out from their respective creature's necks. Inspired by the alien's bug eyes, head shape and long skinny fingers, the costumes were meticulously constructed using prosthetics and makeup.

Known for her love of Halloween, Klum regularly hosts a star-studded bash where she showcases her extraordinary costumes. Past years have seen her transform into a peacock, a worm and Fiona from "Shrek". Teasing fans throughout the day with glimpses of her look, Klum described the costume as "one year in the making."

Despite her elaborate preparations, the model admits to anxiety before her costume debuts. "There is no real trial. I can't do a real fitting before I am in it," she said. "And then something happens and I'm like, 'Oh god.' "

Klum also shared that her Halloween obsession has extended to her children. Her 15-year-old daughter, Lou, actively participates in costume creation and takes pride in crafting her own wigs and props.

With each Halloween, Klum strives for something different and unique. "It's always got to be different. Completely different," she said. Planning for next year's costume begins immediately, ensuring that the reigning queen of Halloween continues to surprise and inspire fans with her annual spectacle.
