While Bunnie has lost around 3 pounds after two weeks on the medication, she emphasized that she is primarily taking it for inflammation and hormone regulation, potentially related to PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome). However, her experience has not been without challenges.

On the first day of taking tirzepatide, Bunnie experienced nausea and severe diarrhea. After five days, she became severely dehydrated and required an IV from a nurse traveling with her on her husband Jelly Roll's tour. Bunnie noted that she is particularly sensitive to medications and cautioned others about taking tirzepatide without consulting a healthcare professional.

"I'm so sick...I was dehydrated...so bad," she recalled. "She [the nurse] gave me two IV bags and some magnesium, and I felt like a new woman. So that right there showed me that I was, like, severely dehydrated. After that, I was fine."

Despite these setbacks, Bunnie has noticed some positive effects. She reported a significant improvement in sleep quality, with eight hours of restful sleep becoming a regular occurrence. Additionally, she mentioned a decrease in inflammation.

Despite the challenges and side effects, Bunnie is determined to continue taking tirzepatide in hopes of achieving her hormone health goals. She plans to start taking the medication at a slower pace to mitigate the adverse effects.

Although Bunnie's experience is not representative of everyone who takes tirzepatide, it highlights the importance of individualized treatment, careful monitoring by a healthcare provider, and realistic expectations about potential side effects.
