'Survivor' alum Richard Hatch reflects on his elimination from E!'s 'House of Villains', where he made enemies instead of alliances as he was betrayed by the cast members.

AceShowbiz - Richard Hatch, the original "Survivor" winner, became the second contestant eliminated from season 2 of "House of Villains". Despite thinking he had alliances, Hatch was betrayed by Camilla Poindexter and placed on the Hit List. Ultimately, he was voted out unanimously, even by his allies.
Hatch takes responsibility for his elimination, admitting he failed to connect with the other contestants. He believes they were "disconnected from reality," not understanding they were in a game.
Hatch regrets not making alliances with people like Wes Bergmann and New York, which he believes would have kept him in the game. He says, "We really could have gone far had Camilla [not put me on the Hit List]."
However, Hatch doesn't regret allowing Poindexter to become the Supervillain of the Week. He says, "This is one of the things people should know going into any kind of unscripted drama: You can't really live with regrets."
Hatch also believes Poindexter's decision to target both him and Bergmann was "really, really messy play."
Despite his elimination, Hatch remains optimistic, saying, "It's just wrong. There's a lot of regret that's about to unfold after this episode… Hopefully I'll be back next season. If they can bring back New York, I can come back and rock it again too. We'll see."
