AceShowbiz - Zach Bryan's ex advised people against dating a celebrity prior to their shocking split. Brianna Chickenfry a.k.a. Brianna LaPaglia, who claimed she was blindsided by the singer's breakup announcement, recently revealed that her relationship with the country music star took a toll on her mental health.

Brianna appeared in the Tuesday, October 22 episode of "Talk Tuah with Haliey Welch" podcast, which was filmed days before Zach confirmed their split. "I think it's better for the mental [state] to not date someone famous," she said on the show. "It's a lot."

Brianna claimed she once vowed to "never date anyone famous," saying she "literally never wanted to and then it kind of just happened." The 25-year-old media personality went on to share how she dealt with talks about her then-relationship with Zach.

"The internet is crazy and they run with stuff, and I don't ever defend myself online," she said of numerous online rumors about her and Zach. "So, it kind of just spirals into like a snowball cause I think it's stupid to feed into."

Zach took to Instagram on Tuesday to announce his separation from Brianna. "I have had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways," he wrote. He added, "I am not perfect and never will be."

In response to his post, Brianna said she had no prior knowledge of her ex's plans. "I just woke up to Zach posting on his Instagram that we broke up, and I had no idea that post was going up. He didn't text me, he didn't call me," she said, visibly distressed.

"I've been crying for like five days straight," she admitted. "I'm at the point where it's like, how can you give someone everything and love them so unconditionally, like through stuff that you shouldn't because you just love them and you want them...?"

Brianna said that she initially wanted to "heal privately" but was forced to address the situation publicly after Zach's announcement. She asked her followers to respect her privacy and thanked them for their messages of support. "I'm just going to be hurt for a week and lay in bed. I just didn't want it to be public. I'm just feeling blindsided," she said.

While Brianna is still mending her heartbreak, Zach has seemingly moved on. He is reportedly using the celebrity dating app Raya shortly after their split, prompting backlash from social media users.
