AceShowbiz - Lizzo has found herself in hot water over her recent social media move. The "About Damn Time" hitmaker was accused of deleting negative comments amid backlash for flying a private jet to a Kamala Harris event.

On Sunday, October 20, the 36-year-old rapper/singer was highly criticized by many social media users. In the comments section of her Instagram post, one in particular asked the Grammy-winning artist, "Lizzo .. why you deleting the negative comments," adding a slew of laughing face emojis.

Similarly, another chimed in, "All of these 'celebs' either delete comments or completely shut them off. Like if you so strongly believe in what you say, why can't you hear a response? Hmm!"

The comments came shortly after Lizzo made an appearance at a Democrat event in Detroit, Michigan. At the gathering, which was held at Western International High School, she endorsed Vice President Kamala for the upcoming presidential election. However, it was her choice of transportation when attending the event that garnered negative online responses.

Following the event, Lizzo uploaded a video on Instagram. In the short clip, it could be seen that she was making her way inside a white private jet. Before hopping inside the luxury air travel, she spoke in front of the camera, "This is how a bad b***h saves democracy. You ho's couldn't even spell democracy."

Lizzo went on to turn around and walk towards the stairs. As she nearly reached the top of them, she stopped and aimed her face at the camera. She then blew a kiss and flashed her radiant big smile, showing that she was in a good mood.

It did not take long for the post to be flooded with unpleasant comments, including those that allegedly have been removed by Lizzo. One in particular wrote, "And like dizzy Lizzo gonna help her get votes as she stepped off her private jet. Girl, go home. Detroit doesn't need to be lectured to by some elite millionaire that doesn't have a f**kingg clue."

Mentioning Lizzo's legal issues, another sarcastically penned, "Says the woman in the midst of a sexual harassment lawsuit... stepping on a rented (ancient) 30 year old plane. Cool." A third added, "Yeah she's so proud to be from Detroit that she doesn't actually live there while people are suffering living on the streets and the high crime She flies back to Beverly hills on her private jet what a fake hypocrite @lizzo."
