The 'Christina on the Coast' star and her estranged husband's divorce has taken a new turn, with Christina alleging that Josh has requested an excessive amount in spousal support.

AceShowbiz - The high-stakes divorce battle between Christina Haack (formerly Christina El Moussa) and Josh Hall is taking new turns with startling revelations and counterclaims from both sides. The "Christina on the Coast" star alleges her estranged husband requested an "outrageous" $65,000 monthly in spousal support, a claim Josh vehemently denies.

"Josh Hall is requesting $65,000 per month in spousal support from [Christina] on a 2 year, 9 month marriage, which is outrageous when he is self-supporting," Christina claims in court documents obtained by multiple sources. She adds that Josh recently paid over $70,000 to pay off the lease on a Bentley, suggesting he has no need for spousal support from her.

Josh fired back in an Instagram Story post on October 16, calling the legal declarations made by Christina "riddled with lies and assumptions." He also accused her lawyer Matthew S. DeArmey of unethical behavior, writing, "Interesting tactic for someone who is a licensed attorney and took an oath of integrity. Pretty sure making provably false statements to a judge is unethical."

Further complicating the proceedings, Josh's representative stated that he never requested the specific $65,000 sum in support. However, he did ask for spousal support without specifying an amount in his initial divorce petition filed on July 15. Christina, in her response, requested neither party be allowed to receive support.

The pair's rocky relationship has spilled over to disputes over property. Christina's Tennessee farmhouse, featured on her HGTV spin-off "Christina in the Country", is another point of contention. Despite a September legal agreement allowing Josh to stay there if it wasn't rented out, Christina listed the home for sale on October 5 for $4.5 million. Josh attempted to block the sale, which Christina refuted, stating the listing was part of her business as a real estate investor.

Christina's legal team also claims Josh mismanaged communal money, diverting over $35,000 of her separate rental income into his account. The court recently ordered Josh to return the funds to Christina's bank account.

Both parties appear entrenched in their positions, with Christina standing firm on business decisions and Josh denying the allegations of financial exploitation. While Josh expressed his desire to resolve matters privately, the unfolding events suggest a resolution is not on the immediate horizon.
