AceShowbiz - K-pop star Rose and renowned singer Bruno Mars have joined forces for a new single titled "Apt." set to release on October 18. The duo teased their collaboration with Instagram posts, sharing a chic artwork depicting the artists in black-and-white against a bright pink background.
The new came as Rose's solo debut album, "rosie," is slated for a December 1 release, marking her first project since her smash hit "On the Ground." Mars, meanwhile, has recently teamed up with Lady Gaga on "Die With a Smile."
The collaboration is a significant moment for both artists as Rose inks a deal with Atlantic Records, home to Mars and other notable musicians like Ed Sheeran and Charli XCX. In addition to her debut album, Rose has launched a new "finsta" account, @vampirehollie, where she posted multiple posts with mysterious number "1", prompting fans to speculate she may be preparing something for November 1.
Prior to their announcement, Mars and Rose hinted at their collaboration with Instagram posts from a night out together. Rose joked about teaching him a Korean drinking game and Mars quipped about her attempting to kiss him.
Rose is not the only BLACKPINK member going solo. Teammate Jennie recently made her solo comeback with the single "Mantra," marking her first release since 2023's "You & Me."
