
Emmy-winning actor Henry Winkler and his 'Grotesquerie' co-star, Courtney Vance, have expressed their admiration for Travis Kelce's performance in the new FX thriller.

AceShowbiz - Henry Winkler, known for his iconic role as Fonzie in "Happy Days", recently shared his unexpected admiration for Travis Kelce's work both on and off the field. Winkler revealed that Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes gifted him a jersey after hearing Winkler's complimentary remarks about the team. To Winkler's surprise, Kelce appeared on the field during a game wearing a Fonzie t-shirt.
Winkler further praised Kelce's acting skills in the new Ryan Murphy series "Grotesquerie", where Kelce makes his scripted TV debut. He noted that his son, Max, directed Kelce in the role and was impressed by his natural talent.
On the set of "Grotesquerie," Kelce received high praise from his co-stars. Courtney Vance, who plays Kelce's comatose husband, described him as "very warm, very cool, and very prepared." Vance also revealed that Kelce was open to suggestions and eager to learn.
Niecy Nash-Betts, who plays Detective Lois Tryon in the series, echoed Vance's sentiments, saying that Kelce was "very professional" and always came to set well-prepared. She added that Kelce's openness to feedback and his willingness to learn made him a pleasure to work with.
Kelce's brother, retired NFL star Jason Kelce, also acknowledged the praise from Winkler, saying that Travis was "killing it" in his acting debut. Travis expressed his enjoyment of the experience and noted that he was eager to see how his performance unfolded.
"Grotesquerie" premiered on FX on Wednesdays at 10 P.M. ET/PT and streams the next day on Hulu.
