In an upcoming ITV1 documentary, the Prince of Wales shares his desire to continue his mother's legacy by working to end homelessness through his Homewards program.

AceShowbiz - Inspired by his late mother Princess Diana, Prince William is using his platform to address the issue of homelessness in the United Kingdom. In an upcoming ITV1 documentary, "Prince William: We Can End Homelessness", the Prince of Wales discusses his goals for the Homewards initiative.

William reveals that he has drawn inspiration from his mother's work with the homeless. As a child, he and his brother Prince Harry would accompany Diana on visits to homeless charities.

In the documentary, William highlights the progress made by Homewards in its first year. Launched in 2023, the initiative aims to make homelessness "rare, brief, and unrepeated" in the next five years.

"I firmly believe that by working together, it is possible to end homelessness," William said in a statement. "Homewards gives people across the UK hope that it can be prevented."

Like his mother, William is passionate about helping the homeless. He has previously sold magazines on the streets with "The Big Issue", a homelessness support magazine.

The documentary features William's conversation with football player Fara Williams, who experienced homelessness for six years. William emphasizes his belief that homelessness should not exist in the 21st century.

The documentary does not yet have a release date but is expected to air soon on ITV1.
