AceShowbiz - Jennifer Tilly doesn't hold back in her debut on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills", describing the experience as "dynamite." The 66-year-old actress joined the Bravo hit as a friend of Sutton Stracke and is more than ready to stir the pot. Tilly excitedly revealed, "Everybody stirred the pot, including myself."
Speaking at the launch of the Rebecca Vallance x Nicky Hilton Holiday Collection, Tilly shared her excitement about joining the cast, "I saw what the other girls were doing, and I rolled up my sleeves and got in on the action." Season 14 promises to amplify the drama with a great mix of new and returning stars, including Kyle Richards, Garcelle Beauvais, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne and the newcomer Bozoma Saint John.
Tilly's excitement extends beyond just being part of the cast. It's a dream come true for the long-time superfan. "There's a lot of laughter, a lot of tears, a lot of joy, a lot of anger, a lot of people working through things. But mostly, I would say [for] me, being on 'Housewives', it was very joyous," she shared.
Interestingly, Tilly isn't diving in completely unshielded. Given her status as a "Friend," she enjoys a more flexible role, stating on the "It Happened in Hollywood" podcast, "I'm not a Housewife. I'm a Friend, though, which is a lot easier. You just dip in and out. You try to avoid, like, flying shrapnel. And you know, if drinks are thrown, I have good reflexes."
Sutton Stracke, also attending the Beverly Hills launch party, expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming season, "I love this season. Maybe the most." She highlighted how the new episodes would reacquaint fans with the luxurious essence of Beverly Hills, from glamorous trips to upscale parties.
Tilly's friend and co-star Gina Gershon, who once considered joining "RHOBH", conveyed her confidence in Tilly's participation, "You're gonna be genius on that. You'll take over that whole set, Jen. I have no doubt." Gershon's words only add to the hype as audiences eagerly await season 14.
