AceShowbiz - Scheana Shay, a star of "Vanderpump Rules", has hinted at a potential expanded role in the second season of the Bravo spin-off "The Valley". In an episode of "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen", the 39-year-old acknowledged her close relationships with cast members of "The Valley", including Kristen Doute, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright, who previously starred in "Vanderpump Rules".
When pressed by host Andy Cohen about whether fans could expect to see more of her on the show, Scheana remained coy, suggesting that cameras may have captured her hangouts with the group over the summer. "You saw me around a lot with them this summer," she told Cohen.
Despite speculation that Scheana and her "Vanderpump Rules" co-star Lala Kent might join "The Valley" as series regulars in season 2, Bravo showrunner Alex Baskin previously denied the rumor. However, both women have been spotted socializing with the "The Valley" cast throughout the summer.
Scheana also addressed her strained relationships with "Vanderpump Rules" cast members Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix. She revealed that she last saw Sandoval at the Emmys but that they are not currently in touch. She also admitted that her closeness with Ariana has diminished since their split.
"I think we still need to have a deeper conversation," she said. "We aren't as close as we once were, but we have so much love for each other, so I know we'll get back."
Regarding Jax Taylor's decision to unfollow Scheana, her husband Brock Davies, and their daughter on social media, Scheana expressed that she was not surprised. "He acts one way to my face and then another," she explained. "I just can't keep up with him so I'm good on him."
Scheana also commented on Brittany Cartwright's divorce from Jax Taylor, saying that she was unsurprised by the announcement. "I'm surprised it took that long," she joked.
As for her closest relationships within the "Vanderpump Rules" cast, Scheana ranked Lala Kent first, followed by Ariana Madix and then Katie Maloney.
Production on 'Vanderpump Rules' season 12 is expected to begin this fall.
