AceShowbiz - Christina Hall is bidding farewell to her Tennessee home, a modern farmhouse that has been prominently featured in her HGTV spinoff, "Christina in the Country." The real estate mogul announced on her Instagram Stories on October 3 that the Leiper's Fork property is for sale, listing it at $4.5 million.
The home, situated on 23.82 acres, boasts six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a three-car garage, and a barn. Despite its luxurious amenities, the personal drama surrounding the home has gained the most attention.
According to PEOPLE, Josh Hall, Christina's estranged husband, has been living in the house since their separation. The couple, who started dating in March 2021 and married in a private ceremony in October 2021, are currently in the midst of a contentious divorce.
Legal documents reveal that Josh has been allowed to stay in the house as long as it wasn't being rented out. Christina claimed that Josh transferred $35,000 in rental income to his personal account the day after she informed him of her intention to file for divorce.
Christina hasn't been shy about airing her grievances on social media. She previously shared an Instagram Story implying that Josh had broken promises and was fixated on her money.
"Remember when you said you would never steal from me or my kids and you would just be happy in a van with your dog? I guess plans changed. All about trying to take everything you can... With your mind on my money and my money on your mind... Byeeee," she wrote.
Josh, for his part, has opted to take a quieter approach, issuing a statement through a representative via PEOPLE. "Josh has said repeatedly that he wants to handle the divorce like an adult - in the courts, not in social media and the tabloids. Over and over again, Christina has insisted otherwise, creating public spectacles, but Josh has still stayed quiet. But now Christina is defaming him. These are false, libelous claims," the statement read.
Christina has continued to be vocal, recently elaborating on her Instagram Stories about Josh's mismanagement of funds and their financial arrangements. She argued that Josh's request for spousal support was unreasonable given their short marriage and stated she covered all their luxurious expenses, including car payments.
The Leiper's Fork farmhouse, initially purchased by Christina in February 2021, has been a symbolic and material focal point in their relationship. While Christina is ready to offload the property and start fresh, the public and legal battles with Josh seem far from over. She hints at more revelations in her upcoming autobiography, assuring followers that it will be a "real page-turner."
Whether Christina's approach will influence the divorce outcome remains to be seen. However, the drama has certainly kept her audience engaged and the tabloids buzzing.
