AceShowbiz - "Golden Bachelorette" star Gil Ramirez's legal drama might cost his job. According to a new report, he is currently being investigated by the school district he works for after his crime record came to light.
A source told The U.S. Sun that Gil's career is in jeopardy after it was revealed that he was once served with a restraining order for stalking his ex. "Gil's behavior is being investigated by his workplace," the source said.
"Given his job requires him to deal with kids, it seems almost certain he will be let go due to the unprofessional nature of the incident," the insider added. The 60-year-old has been serving as the Athletics Director of Capistrano Valley High School in Orange County, CA after being a faculty member for 21 years at a rival school.
Meanwhile, another source noted that "the school is very alarmed by the claims that have recently been made public and the proper authorities are investigating the matter." It continued, "That kind of behavior has no place there. Of course, safety of the students is of utmost priority. After some pushback from students and their families, the matter is being looked into."
The school allegedly started the investigation because "parents are pissed," prompting them to reach "out to the school." They were said to be "expecting them to take "appropriate action." The source further divulged, "Many students and their parents do not feel comfortable with [Gil's alleged] actions and the attention it's been receiving."
While "there hasn't been a petition or anything formal to fire him… yet," the report claimed that "parents have called and expressed their concerns, they want him out."
Gil's past was revealed in the September 18 premiere of "The Golden Bachelorette", which sees leading lady Joan Vassos trying to find new love. In the episode, a 62-year-old California woman, who claimed to be Gil's ex, alleged that he stalked her shortly before filming for this current season began. She added that she filed temporary domestic violence restraining order against Gil on June 11, just days before filming for "The Golden Bachelorette" began.
