AceShowbiz - Travis Kelce is set to make his highly anticipated acting debut in Ryan Murphy's FX series "Grotesquerie". The three-time Super Bowl champion recently teased his role in the horror drama show, which premieres Wednesday, September 25.

Kelce spoke about his excitement for fans to see his performance, saying, "I cannot wait to see everybody's reaction of me being in a mystery thriller. Kinda scary. What the f**k is going on? It'll get you thinking now." He also hinted at a possible Sixth Sense element in his character, quipping, "Are any of us alive, Jason? No. ... It might be a little of that."

"Grotesquerie" follows a series of crimes that have unsettled a small community. Detective Lois Tryon (Niecy Nash-Betts) teams up with Sister Megan (Micaela Diamond) to investigate the sinister web behind the crimes.

Kelce's character details remain under wraps, but Ryan Murphy has praised the football star's performance. Murphy said, "He really was amazing. He worked with an acting coach for several months. He showed up off book. He knew everybody's lines. He was so professional. He was so committed."

Kelce's co-stars, including Nash-Betts, have also expressed their admiration for his professionalism. Nash-Betts said, "He was very open on if there was a note given or a suggestion given. So amenable."

The series premiere of Grotesquerie took place in New York City on Wednesday, with Kelce's family attending. His mother, Donna Kelce, expressed her excitement for her son's acting debut, saying, "I think this is something he's always had in the back of his mind. He's very coachable."
