Former ESPN analyst Todd McShay criticizes Kelce's performance in Kansas City Chiefs' first three games of the season, while others speculate on the impact of his off-field activities.

AceShowbiz - Former ESPN analyst Todd McShay has criticized Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce for his slow start to the NFL season. In an appearance on "The Ryen Russillo Podcast", McShay attributed Kelce's lackluster performance to his newfound fame and jet-setting lifestyle.

McShay pointed to Kelce's offseason travels to accompany his girlfriend Taylor Swift on her international tour, as well as his busy schedule with brand deals and personal investments. He suggested that these activities have prevented Kelce from dedicating sufficient time to football.

"Every show I watch, every broadcast I watch for the last few weeks, it's like, are we not allowed to say that he's out of shape?" McShay asked. "That he's been partying all offseason? He's been jet-setting around with the most famous person probably in the entire world."

McShay also voiced concerns about Kelce's conditioning, arguing that he is "barely the same human being" as he was a few seasons ago. He noted that Kelce has recorded only eight catches for 69 yards and no touchdowns in three games this season.

While some analysts agree with McShay's assessment, others suggest that Kelce's slow start may be due to opponents double-teaming or his age. Kelce is 34 years old and has been in the NFL for 12 seasons.

Despite the criticism, the Chiefs are 3-0 this season and Kelce has shown in the past that he can improve his performance when his team needs him most. However, McShay believes that Kelce must first prioritize his football conditioning and reduce his off-field activities.
