AceShowbiz - Baton Rouge rapper Boosie Badazz (Lil Boosie), known legally as Torence Hatch, is facing a theft of services charge in Travis County, Texas, for allegedly failing to pay for chauffeur services during a visit to Austin in June.
According to an arrest warrant affidavit, a limousine and chauffeur service company provided transportation to Hatch and his entourage from June 5 to June 7, but never received payment. The affidavit states that the company drove Boosie to various locations, including Walmart, Urgent Care, Burger King, a trampoline park and a business.
The driver asked Hatch and his manager about payment several times and later sent an $8,800 invoice, which remained unpaid. Despite promoting the business on social media, Hatch and the company reportedly never agreed that the video would fully cover the cost of services.
Boosie is scheduled to appear in Travis County court on October 28 to address the charges.
In addition to the Texas warrant, Boosie also faces new gun charges in San Diego, California, related to his 2023 arrest. Federal prosecutors have reindicted him for possession of a firearm as a convicted felon and knowingly possessing a firearm while dealing with abuse of a controlled substance. Boosie has expressed frustration over the charges, which could carry a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.
