AceShowbiz - Sylvester Stallone is finalizing a $24.95 million purchase for an eight-bedroom mansion in East Hampton, New York, for his three daughters with his wife, Jennifer Flavin. The mansion, which is newly built, spans 11,644 square feet over 1.12 acres. It is situated a mile from the Atlantic Ocean waterfront and close to shops and restaurants.
The home features a grand gated entrance, a double-height foyer with an adjacent staircase, and a great room. The kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art amenities, including a pair of sub-zero refrigerator/freezers, a Lacanche range, and speed and electric ovens by Wolf. The dining area includes marble countertops, a breakfast nook, and an adjacent formal dining room.
The family room features a wood-burning fireplace, while the mudroom is heated and includes a powder room. The master suite includes a fireplace, a bathroom with a steam shower and tub, and a pair of walk-in closets.
The second floor features a junior primary suite and three additional bedrooms, one of which includes a private balcony. A lower level includes a movie theater, recreational space, and three more bedrooms, one of which has four twin beds.
Outdoor amenities include a heated gunite pool with a cabana, spa, sun deck, and fireplace. The home also has a covered porch, gardens, dining areas, a shower, and a large lawn area. A two-car garage is detached from the main property and includes lofted storage.
The mansion was designed by interior designer James Michael Howard and is fully furnished with pricey antiques, custom furnishings, art, and finishes. It is turn-key ready, with custom brass hardware, lighting, and hand-painted floors and walls created by artisans.
Stallone purchased the residence sight unseen following two video tours. His daughters are expected to move into the mansion next summer.
