AceShowbiz - Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev have had an apparent awkward encounter following their domestic violence drama. The estranged couple briefly crossed paths with each other in Napa Valley on Sunday, September 17, marking the first time they were photographed together since he was arrested on a felony domestic violence charge.

The retired professional wrestler and the professional dancer ran into each other during his visit with their son Matteo. As he arrived at the house he previously shared with Nikki, the "Total Bellas" alum was leaving the house.

However, their encounter was far from cordial. They seemed to ignore each other as the WWE Hall of Famer appeared to keep her distance from her estranged husband when they were spotted in the front yard.

According to TMZ which obtained pictures of Nikki and Artem's reunion, Nikki remained outside while the "Dancing with the Stars" pro spent some one-on-one time with their 4-year-old son. Both of them ditched their wedding rings during the occasion.

Nikki, who was rocking a white cropped shirt with long sleeves and cream-colored sweatpants, was also seen outside with her son on the same day. She took Matteo out and about with her on a coffee run. The 40-year-old TV personality also joined the boy for a scooter ride through their neighborhood.

As reported before, Artem was booked into Napa County jail on a felony domestic violence charge on August 29. On September 11, Nikki filed for divorce from Artem. She requested sole legal and physical custody of their son, while granting visitation rights to Artem.

A few days later, Artem responded to Nikki's divorce petition. In his court filing, he listed August 29, the day of his arrest, as the date of separation. He demands joint legal and physical custody of their son Matteo. He is also seeking spousal support and requests that Bella pay his attorney fees.
