After 85 years of being an iconic superhero in comic books, TV and film, the Caped Crusader is finally getting his due on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on September 26.

AceShowbiz - Batman will be the first superhero to receive a star on the Walk of Fame in a ceremony on Thursday, September 26 at 11:00 A.M. PT. The star will be located at 6764 Hollywood Boulevard, in front of The Hollywood Guinness World Records Museum.
The ceremony will be hosted by Steve Nissen, President and CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. Joining Nissen will be DC Comics' President, Publisher, and Chief Creative Officer Jim Lee, and SVP and General Manager Anne DePies.
Batman will also be receiving a Guinness World Record for being the first superhero with a star on the Walk of Fame. The record will be presented by Guinness World Records adjudicator Michael Empric.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to honor Batman with this star, which will be located near the stars of television's Batman, Adam West, and the co-creator of Batman, Bob Kane.
Batman has been an iconic figure in popular culture for over 85 years. Created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger, Batman first appeared in Detective Comics #27 in 1939. Since then, he has starred in numerous comic books, TV shows, cartoons and movies.

The first 100 attendees to purchase a Batman product at Funko Hollywood on Tuesday, September 24 will receive a special wristband that will allow them access to an exclusive signing and meet and greet with Jim Lee on Thursday.
Warner Bros. will be collaborating with Funko Hollywood to stage a pop-up museum on the day of the event. This will include famous props and costumes from Batman's history of film and TV.
