The 'Nice and Slow' hitmaker's eye seemingly is hurt after one concertgoer accidentally hits it while trying to wrap their hand around the singer during his performance.

AceShowbiz - Usher apparently was hurt following an unexpected incident at his recent concert. When entertaining his devotees at his "Usher: Past Present and Future" tour stop, the "Nice & Slow" hitmaker got hit on the eye.

Recently, the 45-year-old R&B icon took the stage at his show, which is a part of his ongoing sixth concert tour. During the gig, he belted out some of his songs in front of a packed audience. When delivering his 2010 track titled "There Goes My Baby", he took his time to sing off the stage, trying to get closer to concertgoers.

Usher walked among the crowd of fans, who were surrounded by security guards in order to mind their distance from the singer. At one point, he pointed his finger at a camera, which was recording, as he sang. While the guards were trying their best to keep him safe, some of the concertgoers wanted to touch him.

One in particular appeared to have taken a video of Usher, whose full name is Usher Terrence Raymond IV. When the singer got closer, the concertgoer decided to wrap their hand around him while holding their smartphone. The fan's hand accidentally hit his eye, forcing him to stop singing for a few seconds.

Usher, whose forehead was wet from his sweat, closed both of his eyes as he dodged the fan's hand. His eye seemingly was hurt. He wiped it with one of his fingers and blinked several times before he could continue singing. He went on to walk while finishing the song.

The incident was documented in a video that was shared by a blog via Instagram on Friday, September 13. It prompted social media users to blast the fan for allegedly ruining Usher's moment. One in particular criticized, "This why I can't stand ppl bc why tf would you even do that?? This man tryna PERFORM."

Similarly, another pointed out, "She was outta line. This is why some celebrities don't like to get too close. Fans need to learn to respect boundaries." A third asked, "TEW MUCH!!! It wasn't enough he was looking into your cameras for you???? Sheesh lady! She made me mad."
