AceShowbiz - Gleb Savchenko and Brooks Nader are not in a romantic relationship despite rumors. The professional dancer on "Dancing with the Stars" has debunked the speculations suggesting that he and the model have something more than a friendship.
On Thursday, September 12, the 40-year-old Russian-American choreographer set the record straight on the matter. Speaking to TMZ, he said that he and the 27-year-old Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model are "just friends."
Despite gushing over Brooks for being "cool and fun", Gleb told the media outlet that "he's not into her romantically." The professional dancer, who previously appeared on the U.K., Australian and Russian versions of the show, went on to spill that "he's not focused on dating anyone right now."
The clarification came after Gleb and Brooks sparked romance rumors. On September 4, the two put on a loved-up display when they were out and about in New York City. In a series of pictures that made their rounds online, it could be seen that they were strolling around the Big Apple together.
Gleb and Brooks were photographed walking close next to each other as they had a seemingly nice conversation. At one point, she was spotted adoringly looking at him during their fun chat. They looked very happy, flashing their radiant big smiles several times.
During the relaxing stroll on the sunny day, Gleb and Brooks appeared to have grabbed lunch. The pair, who are set to be partners on "Dancing with the Stars", were pictured sitting side-by-side at an outdoor restaurant. She apparently showed her phone to him as she wrapped her hand around the ballroom dancer, who was bursting into laughter.
This was not the first time Brooks was hit with dating rumors. Previously, she was linked to retired professional football player Tom Brady following her split from husband Billy Haire. However, on Wednesday, September 11, her sister Sarah Jane confirmed that Brooks is single. Speaking to Daily Mail, Sarah shared, "She's having fun as a single girl. I think it's as exciting as it possibly could be [for her]."
