Green Day is heading to Australia in 2025 for a multi-date stadium tour, performing their iconic albums 'Dookie' and 'American Idiot' in their entirety.

AceShowbiz - Green Day, the Rock Hall-inducted punk-rock trio, will embark on "The Saviors Tour" in Australia in 2025. The tour will kick off at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on March 1st, followed by Engie Stadium in Sydney on March 3rd, and conclude at Cbus Super Stadium on the Gold Coast on March 5th.
Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tré Cool will perform "Dookie," celebrating its 30th anniversary, and "American Idiot," marking its 20th year. The setlist will also include tracks from their latest album, "Saviors."
West Coast rockers AFI will support the tour, marking their first dates in Australia since 2017.
"We've never been more excited to unleash new music than with Saviors, a record that's meant to be rocked live, together," said Green Day in a statement. "And we cannot wait to return to Australia, it's been way too long."
Tickets for the Australian leg of Green Day's world tour will go on sale to the general public on Friday, September 20th, at staggered times: 12 pm for the Gold Coast show, 1 pm for Melbourne, and 2 pm for Sydney.
Multiple pre-sales will take place before the general sale:
- Artist Pre-Sale: Fans on Green Day's mailing list can purchase tickets from Monday, September 16th, to Thursday, September 19th.
- Vodafone and CommBank Mastercard Pre-Sales: Members can access pre-sale tickets from Tuesday, September 17th, to Thursday, September 19th.
- Live Nation Pre-Sale: The promoter's pre-sale begins on Thursday, September 19th, and runs for 24 hours.
- Westfield Reserved Tickets: Westfield Members can access exclusive tickets on Friday, September 20th.
Green Day is a frequent visitor to Australia, with their last scheduled tour being the Hella Mega Tour in 2020, which was canceled due to the pandemic.
