AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift has proven that she is supportive of fellow artists. When making an appearance at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, the "All Too Well" hitmaker showed support to Katy Perry and Karol G.
On Wednesday, September 11, the 34-year-old superstar attended the award show, which took place at the UBS Arena in New York. Throughout the big event, she enjoyed watching performances from artists, including Katy.
When Katy delivered her song titled "Dark Horse", which was released back in 2013, on the stage, Taylor stood up in front of her seat. She was caught on camera grooving to the track. At one point, she clapped her hands before freely dancing to the song.
Later on, Taylor complained since she was ready to show her dancing skills but the song was unexpectedly stopped. She said something to her female pal, who was also dancing next to her. Taylor's reaction prompted the friend to burst into laughter.
As Katy went on to belt out "E.T.", which is featured in her album titled "Teenage Dream", Taylor was spotted singing along to the song. She also appeared to have sung, "Could you be the devil, could you be an angel," while dancing.
Aside from the "Last Friday Night" songstress, Taylor was supportive of Karol G. When the Colombian singer, whose real name is Carolina Giraldo Navarro, took the stage, she approached Taylor who was sitting on her seat next to her "Fortnight" collaborator Post Malone.
Seemingly aware that Karol wanted to invite her to dance together, Taylor stood up and began dancing. She appeared to have enjoyed the fun moment as she was smiling from ear-to-ear. In the meantime, Post was dancing with one of Karol's backup dancers while holding a glass of drink in one of his hands.
For her sweet gestures, Taylor received positive comments from social media users. One in particular gushed, "Taylor is genuinely one of the most fun people at every award show and we love that!" Similarly, another chimed in, "She is such an enjoyable person like anyone can easily vibe with her."
