Two iconic 'Bull Durham' stars Kevin Costner and Susan Sarandon reunited at the Better World Fund Gala in Venice, reminiscing about their on-screen romance.

AceShowbiz - Kevin Costner and Susan Sarandon, who starred together in the classic baseball film "Bull Durham", have reunited after 36 years. The two attended the Better World Fund Gala at the 81st Venice International Film Festival in Venice, Italy, on Thursday, September 5.

Costner, 69, and Sarandon, 77, were both guests of honor at the gala and shared heartfelt moments catching up. Costner posted a sweet photo of them on Instagram, captioning it, "There's nothing like catching up with an old friend."

"Great to see you @susansarandon-we've come a long way since our Bull Durham days," Costner added. "Proud to have taken part in the @better_world_fund initiatives alongside Susan here at the #VeniceFilmFestival."

Sarandon also shared her appreciation for the reunion on Instagram, saying, "Such a honor to receive an award from this great organization @better_world_fund. And a double treat to spend time with the other honoree and my dear friend, @kevincostner. Can't wait to see the premiere of @horizonamericansaga 2 tomorrow."

Directed by Ron Shelton, "Bull Durham" tells the story of veteran baseball catcher Crash Davis (Costner) and rookie pitcher Ebby Calvin "Nuke" LaLoosh (Tim Robbins). When the two are paired together, they both fall for Annie Savoy (Sarandon), a baseball enthusiast and free spirit.

While fans may have hoped for a sequel to the beloved film, it's unlikely as the characters' lives have moved on.
