AceShowbiz - 50 Cent has seemingly ended his touring days with his "Final Lap" tour, but in a recent interview with Haute Living, he hinted that his performing days may not be over. When asked about the possibility of a Las Vegas residency, his initial thoughts were skeptical. He cited his numerous upcoming film projects and successful television career as reasons why he couldn't commit to a long-term residency.
However, when the writer suggested that Vegas residencies typically have shows spaced out weeks or months apart, 50 Cent's tune changed. "That would actually be fun; that would work for me to do it that way," he said.
50 Cent is also reflecting on his recent past. On "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert", he recalled a 2023 "Final Lap" tour stop in Kazakhstan where he was treated like Michael Jackson. "It was so cool. It was unbelievable, Stephen. They chased the car like I'm Michael Jackson and shit. It was crazy," he said.
In related news, 50 Cent sees similarities between Michael Jackson and Chris Brown. Last fall, he shared a painting of MJ bestowing a crown on Brown, calling him "the best shit we got."
While 50 Cent's future plans are uncertain, his hint at a possible Las Vegas residency has sparked excitement among fans. Whether or not he will commit to one remains to be seen.
