AceShowbiz - Cardi B is okay despite stepping out in a wheelchair during her recent outing. The soon-to-be mother of three rolled around in a wheelchair when she took her son Wave on a fun trip to DreamWorks Water Park in East Rutherford, New Jersey for the boy's birthday, but it had nothing to do with her recent fall.
Sources close to the star tell TMZ the pregnant raptress is in her final trimester of pregnancy and her feet were swollen so she didn't want to walk around one of the country's largest shopping centers, American Dream Meadowlands, where the water park is located. The mall spans approximately 3 million square feet.
For the outing, Cardi bared her baby bump in a white cropped T-shirt and baggy jeans. She added a pair of boots and had a large pink Louis Vuitton bag slung over her shoulder. Adding a playful vibe, she wore a white fur hat with large flapping ears while accessorizing with some bracelets and necklaces.
The Bronx femcee appeared to be joined by her grandmother and her sister Hennessy Carolina during the trip. She took to her Instagram page to share a picture of the trio posing together and cheekily flipping the bird to the camera.
Cardi, who is currently expecting her third child with Offset despite their split, visited hospital last month after suffering a fall that almost resulted in miscarriage and left her "paralyzed." She said the pain was so unbearable that she needed substantial doses of morphine to manage it.
Detailing the accident, she said, "I was going down the stairs and I slipped a little. I practically fell, but I was trying to prevent myself from falling, so I was holding myself on the railing. My foot still slipped, and I kind of busted my ass."
Upon falling, the Grammy Award-winning artist said, "I felt a weird jerk, like a pop, and I couldn't get up really." She added, "I noticed that I couldn't really walk, like I was feeling pain in my, I don't know, in the lower of my stomach."
The "WAP" hitmaker started to panic when she couldn't "move my bottom at all." She then took an ambulance to the hospital where she "found out that I tore a ligament in my pelvis and it's right where my baby's head is at." She described her pain, "I dilated and I was having contractions for every two minutes for a whole 24 hours."
After a few days in the hospital, Cardi said the doctors "sent me home," and they "not only put me on bed rest, but I got to do therapy." While recovering at home, she said last month that she couldn't stand up or wear heels nearly one week after the "freak accident."
