AceShowbiz - "The Voice" season 26 will premiere on September 23, 8 P.M. ET on NBC, with some schedule changes due to upcoming election debates. There will be only Monday night episodes for the first two weeks, with the first part of the Blind Auditions airing on September 23 and the second part on September 30.
The vice presidential debate between Walz and Vance on October 1 will preempt Tuesday's episode. Similarly, there will be no episode on Election Night (November 5). The show will resume its regular Monday and Tuesday schedule for the rest of the season, except for these exceptions.
The judging panel will see the return of fan favorites Gwen Stefani and Reba McEntire. Stefani, who first joined the show in season 7, will be back after a break during season 25. McEntire, who has been a coach for the past two seasons, will make this her final season. Joining them are newcomers Michael Buble and Snoop Dogg, bringing fresh perspectives and diverse musical genres to the panel.
"The Voice" has a history of changing judges, having featured various renowned musicians over its 25-season run. Despite concerns from fans about the new dynamics, the show continues to evolve with each season.
While "The Voice" isn't the only show affected by the vice presidential debate, "Dancing with the Stars" season 33 will also adjust its schedule to accommodate the VP debate on October 1. Instead of airing a new episode on Tuesday, the show will have a two-night event on October 7 and October 8.
Despite the schedule changes, fans can expect an exciting season of "The Voice", filled with talented vocalists and dynamic coaching interactions. The series will be available to stream on Peacock.
