AceShowbiz - More details about Artem Chigvintsev's domestic violence arrest on Thursday, August 29 found their way out online. A new report revealed that emergency first responders were called to his and wife Nikki Bella's house shortly before the arrest.

Sources close to the investigation told TMZ that an unidentified individual called 911 around 8:30 A.M. due to a "medical emergency." The person, however, later canceled the request when paramedics and the fire department were on the way.

Only two hours later, Artem was arrested and charged with felony corporal injury. He was booked into a Napa County Jail before being released on $25,000 bail.

The name of the victim has yet to be revealed. It was said there were injuries in the incident. It was also said that the victim requested "total confidentiality" regarding the case.

As for Nikki, she revealed on Instagram Stories the day before that she was in the Downtown Napa area. It was unclear if she was present at the time of the incident.

Amid the scandal, it was reported that Artem wouldn't return for "Dancing with the Stars" season 33. "There were no plans for Artem to be part of season 33," a source told Page Six on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Artem's arrest came just days after he and wife Nikki Bella celebrated their wedding anniversary. Earlier this week, the professional dancer took to his Instagram account to write, "Happy anniversary my love, can't see my life without you. You are my everything [heart emoji]," alongside their wedding photos.

Nikki also celebrated the big day, posting a a video of them together on their wedding day set to Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love". The retired WWE star wrote, "This song is our love story. I'll never forget where I was when I asked Jesus about Artem. Having a conversation with He & God. How my feelings felt too soon. It all felt too fast. And then this song came on. And that's when I knew that I was falling in love with him and that it was all meant to be. Happy Anniversary @theartemc I love you!"
