AceShowbiz - Lizzo has found a way to "feel refreshed" after making a shocking announcement. The "About Damn Time" hitmaker turned to Balinese water purification ceremony during her getaway in Indonesia.
On Thursday, August 29, the 36-year-old singer offered social media users a glimpse of one of her activities when she was in Bali. Making use of her TikTok page, the "Truth Hurts" singer treated her followers to a video from the ceremony.
In the 8-second clip, it could be seen that Lizzo was joined by fellow singer SZA, whose real name is Solana Imani Rowe. The two were striking a pose before beginning the ceremony. The video went on to show Lizzo posing in nature. Both of them looked in good spirits during the ceremony, flashing their radiant big smiles several times.
The short footage also showed Lizzo and SZA walking through a cave before arriving at a waterfall. At one point, Lizzo was documented washing her face with clear water that fell down from the cave. The artists later enjoyed their time in nature, letting their bodies get wet under the waterfall.
Lizzo and SZA looked in sync in their satin dresses. Lizzo flaunted her slimmed-down look in a short purple dress that came with a halter neck design. Ditching her accessories and shoes, she styled her curly long locks in a sleek high ponytail with no bangs covering her forehead.
As for SZA, the "Kill Bill" songstress donned a similar dress that came in a red color. She paired it with an orange belt. She also put on red and orange bracelets. In addition, her curly long dark-colored tresses cascaded down her back.
Along with the footage, Lizzo shared how she felt following the ceremony. She wrote in the caption, "Balinese water purification ceremony! I screamed into a waterfall! I feel refreshed," adding folded hands and wave emojis.
The video came after Lizo made headlines with her recent announcement. On Sunday, August 25, she took to Instagram to upload a picture of her standing in the rain during her vacation in Bali. Alongside the snap, she revealed, "I'm taking a gap year & protecting my peace."
