AceShowbiz - The Orange County Sheriff-Coroner Department has released the cause of death for Josh Waring, son of Lauri Peterson, who starred in the original cast of "The Real Housewives of Orange County". Waring died on March 31st, 2023, at the age of 35. Officials ruled his death as accidental, according to TMZ.
The details of Waring's death were shared by his mother on her Instagram account in April. Peterson wrote in an emotional post, "No one can ever prepare you for this feeling of such deep loss. Every fiber in my body hurts." She also mentioned that Waring had struggled with substance abuse for most of his adult life, which had led to repeated run-ins with the law.
Peterson described Waring's childhood as joyful and filled with "deep intellect, humor, pranks, athletics, and music." She praised him for maintaining his sense of humor, optimism, and kindness towards others despite facing challenges later in life.
Waring was survived by his 12-year-old daughter, Kennady, who Peterson adopted in 2015. He is also survived by his parents, Lauri and George Peterson, and sisters Ashley and Sophie.
Peterson shared a photo on Instagram of Kennady celebrating an educational milestone, expressing gratitude for the "bright light" her granddaughter brings to her life.
Waring's passing has brought support from the "RHOC" community and people who have faced similar experiences. Peterson expressed her appreciation for those who had supported her son and urged others to seek help for substance abuse by contacting the SAMHSA helpline.
