AceShowbiz - Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev's second wedding anniversary was short-lived as Chigvintsev was arrested less than three days later for felony domestic violence. On August 26, Nikki Bella celebrated her and Artem Chigvintsev's second wedding anniversary with a gushing Instagram post.
Bella, 40, praised her husband, 42, in a montage of their 2022 Paris wedding set to Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love". Bella shared her feelings about Chigvintsev, saying, "This song is our love story. I fell in love with him when it came on."
Just days later, tragedy struck. On Thursday, August 29, Chigvintsev was arrested by Napa County, California Sheriff's deputies for a felony domestic violence violation. The victim's identity is protected under California law. Chigvintsev was released on $25,000 bail.
Bella, who is professionally known as Nikki Garcia, was reportedly in Napa at the time of the arrest. However, it's unclear if she was involved in the incident.
The couple shares a home in Napa with their four-year-old son, Matteo. They met in 2017 when Bella was a contestant on "Dancing with the Stars" while engaged to John Cena. Bella and Cena ended their engagement in 2018, and Bella and Chigvintsev began dating in 2019. Their lavish 2022 wedding was documented on the reality show "Nikki Bella Says I Do".
Chigvintsev will not be returning to "Dancing with the Stars" for season 33. He has been a regular on the show for several seasons.
