According to reports, he went into cardiac arrest on the shore of Zahora beach in Barbate, Spain. Paramedics attempted to revive Ortega for 30 minutes in front of onlookers but were unable to save him.
Initially, there were reports that Ortega had drowned, but authorities later clarified that he had suffered cardiac arrest.
Ortega appeared in six episodes of "Elite," a popular Spanish teen drama series that ran on Netflix for eight seasons. He also had acting credits in shows such as "Caronte," "Nunc Et in Hora," "Untameable," and "The Countryside."
