AceShowbiz - Julian Ortega, the actor best known for his role in Netflix's series "Elite," died suddenly on Sunday, August 25 at the age of 41. According to reports, he went into cardiac arrest on the shore of Zahora beach in Barbate, Spain. Paramedics attempted to revive Ortega for 30 minutes in front of onlookers but were unable to save him.

Initially, there were reports that Ortega had drowned, but authorities later clarified that he had suffered cardiac arrest.

Ortega appeared in six episodes of "Elite," a popular Spanish teen drama series that ran on Netflix for eight seasons. He also had acting credits in shows such as "Caronte," "Nunc Et in Hora," "Untameable," and "The Countryside."

Tributes have poured in for Ortega from those close to him. Actor Paco Collado wrote, "It was a great pleasure to play your father in 'El Pueblo' series. You left us with sympathy, generosity, and professionalism." Actress Silvia Marsó added, "Today the profession loses an exceptional colleague, an incredible actor, and an unforgettable human being."

Ortega's mother, Gloria Muñoz, is also an actor. She has praised her son for his talent and dedication to his craft, calling him "a great artist."
