AceShowbiz - Blake Lively continues to be under scrutiny as more old interviews keep resurfacing online. The "It Ends With Us" actress has been slammed online over her disrespectful comments about "Shawshank Redemption".

In a Vogue interview taking place a decade ago, Blake was doing the magazine's "73 questions" interview. She was required to answer a series of rapid-fire questions given by the interviewer.

One of the questions was about a movie that made her laugh. To the questions, the "Gossip Girl" alum nonchalantly replied, " 'Shawshank Redemption'." The interviewer laughed at the unexpected response and tried to move to the next question.

After catching wind of the 2014 interview, Internet users immediately put Blake on blast for her answer considering the theme of the movie. The 1994 film follows a banker, played by Tim Robbins, who is sentenced to life in prison for murdering his wife and the man she was cheating on him with.

A confused user asked, "The Shawshank Redemption? I cried watching it." Another joked, "Even as a joke I would not have picked 'Shawshank Redemption'. Something like 'The Human Centipede' or 'Silence of the Lambs' would be better suited."

" 'Shawshank' is one of my favorite movies but to LAUGH through it is INSANE! I cry literally every time I watch it," one other said. Meanwhile, one person believed that Blake was being sarcastic with her answer though it was "badly delivered."

Blake has been in the center of controversy due to her alleged beef with her "It Ends With Us" co-star and director Justin Baldoni. The backlash continued after Swedish journalist Kjerstii Flaa uploaded a video of her 2016 interview with the actress that she claimed almost made her quit her job. More old footages showing Blake's problematic behavior kept resurfacing online ever since.
