AceShowbiz - A video of Lil Baby's recent arrest in Las Vegas has surfaced online. In the footage obtained by TMZ, the "Drip Too Hard" rapper could be heard offering a nearby security guard $200,000 a year to help him out.
While he was being put in handcuffs near a squad car by police, the emcee urged the security guard to "call his number." "F**k yo job! I'll give you [$200,000] a year I swear to God…you don't make [$200,000] here," he said.
Baby also taunted the arresting officers as they refused to let him go. After someone apparently made a remark about him dropping his pants, the rhymer warned cops to "make sure you search me good," adding, "I got a gun in my n*ts, check me good."
The 29-year-old was taken to the Clark County Detention Center on Monday, August 26 for allegedly carrying a concealed weapon without a permit. He was held on $5,000 bail but later releaed after posting the bond.
In the wake of the arrest, Baby's attorneys, Drew Findling and David Chesnoff, stated, "To be clear, Dominique Jones has a valid Georgia Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW) Permit." They added, according to TMZ, "On his behalf, we are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding his arrest in Las Vegas."
Baby was in Las Vegas celebrating NBA star James Harden's 35th birthday. It is unclear if he was arrested before or after the celebrations. This is not the rapper's first run-in with the law, as he has faced minor marijuana possession and driving offenses in the past.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has not yet released further details about the arrest. Lil Baby's arrest comes after he offered an update on his upcoming album, which he revealed is "80 percent done."
