AceShowbiz - Katy Perry has found herself in hot water due to her choice of style. The "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" hitmaker was likened to a "street walker" for wearing a "trashy" outfit during a recent night out.

On Saturday, August 24, the 39-year-old former "American Idol" host was highly criticized by many social media users for barely covering her figure with a sizzling ensemble. In the comments section of her new Instagram post, one critic wrote, "Her dress is really terribly vulgar and hideous." Another chimed in, "What will Daisy say... sad the choices you are making," making a reference to her daughter with fiance Orlando Bloom.

Similarly, a third blasted the "I Kissed a Girl" hitmaker, "Love ya katy but this outfit makes you like a street walker and cheap I'd fire your stylist lately your outfits are very questionable……….to have flaunt just flaunt your amazing voice."

A fourth slammed Katy, "I'm Finding the whole trashy over exposed new look really disappointing, and not needed, the new music very disappointing lyrically, very average new music compared to some of her great work from the past... Firework, Roar, unconditionally, dark horse, the one that got away, by the grace of god.. really great songs.."

"Who else is feeling like this??" the Instagram user continued. "I really liked her and her image, but this image for a 40 year old lady that is a parent, you think she would show more maturity and decency.."

In the post itself, Katy shared a series of photos highlighting her raunchy get-up. She went daring in a snakeskin crop top that came with a cut-out on the wearer's chest. She paired the top with a matching mini skirt, which was short enough to expose her pert derriere. To enhance the look, she put on a pair of matching gloves and black high boots.

Along with the snaps, the "Dark Horse" songstress wrote in the caption, "They say I do it for the male gaze but the truth is I do it for the MALE GAYSSSS," adding a face blowing a kiss emoji. She added, "Thank you @evitaparty for hosting a fabulous party last night 143. i love you."

The pictures were taken when Katy attended a party at nightclub Evita in West Hollywood, California. During the bash, she took the stage to promote her upcoming album "143", which is set to be launched on September 20. She also belted out an unreleased song titled "Nirvana".
