AceShowbiz - The Game may be a formidable figure in the hip-hop industry, but deep inside he has a soft heart. The rapper, who is a father of three, has posted a touching tribute in honor of his daughter California's 14 birthday.
Making use of his Instagram page, he let out several photos of him and his only daughter, including some throwback snaps that showed his adorable bond with his daughter. "14 years.. 14 years & on her 14th birthday he found out it it was DEFINITELY hissssssss lol," he began in the caption. "I usually write out these long heartfelt messages on your birthday so today we will continue that tradition."
"California, my miracle baby.. my one & only daughter… my heart, my soul, my life, my twin…," the Compton native penned. "I am absolutely elated with the beautiful young woman you have become. You're smart, sophisticated, independent & although I truly adore your growth.. I miss you needing me for the small things.. 'Daddy, I can't reach it.. can you get it for me'… and 'Daddy, can you pick me up & fly me around like an airplane again'."
The Game, born Jayceon Terrell Taylor, said that he misses "the little you," while "The Big you… is out here doing her BIG one. You out here poppin poppin…" He added, "You so 'DEMURE'," referencing the viral TikTok trend.
The "Hate It or Love It" spitter went on to show his protective side, jokingly banning his teen daughter from seeing boys. "I went to a wedding this past weekend n the most memorable moment for me was the part where the father walks his daughter down the aisle & blesses another man with all that he has created. I like to extend that day as far as possible being that you're not even allowed to know boys exist but if & when that day ever comes, that would make it all worth it," he wrote.
"I think about all the memories we've created together & we've an amazing journey so far. I also look forward to the ones we will create in the near & distant future," the Grammy Award nominee continued. "You are my entire WORLD little lady & although I'm sure you know this... here's another reminder. Happy Birthday California Dream. I love you …........... Dad, formerly known as Daddy."
He concluded his lengthy message with a request to follow his daughter on Instagram and "wish her a happy 14th birthday for me."
The Game shares California with his ex Tiffney Cambridge. The teen, who is about to enter high school, recently paid tribute to both of her parents following her graduation from Saint Monica Preparatory.
"so thankful for everyone who came and supported me not only today but everyday leading up to this moment," she wrote on her Instagram page back in June. "to my dad, @losangelesconfidential thank you for always seeing in me beautiful things that I did not see in myself, always believing in me, and loving me everyday. to my mom @lovetiffney thank you for being the best role model I could ever ask for and being my bestfriend. I love you both endlessly on to the next chapter of my book."
