AceShowbiz - Billie Eilish is basking in the glow of her latest accomplishment, becoming the most streamed monthly artist on Spotify as of June 2024. The news was announced by Spotify on Monday, bumping The Weeknd down from the top spot he previously held.

Eilish shared her excitement and gratitude with her fans on Instagram, expressing her disbelief and love for them. She reached the No. 1 position with an impressive 100,105,704 monthly listeners, making her the third and youngest artist to achieve this milestone, following Taylor Swift and The Weeknd.

The singer-songwriter also surpassed 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify, joining an elite group of artists who have reached this feat. The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, showed his support as Eilish approached the record, posting an encouraging message on X (formerly Twitter).

Eilish has achieved remarkable success on Spotify, with eight of her songs reaching the Billions Club for surpassing one billion streams. These tracks include "Lovely" with Khalid, "Bad Guy", "When the Party's Over" and "Happier Than Ever".

Her latest milestone comes after the release of her third studio album, "Hit Me Hard and Soft", in May 2024. The album was co-produced and co-written by her brother and longtime collaborator, Finneas. Despite their close relationship, Eilish and Finneas revealed they had their biggest feud during the album's creation, primarily due to Finneas' occasional barefoot habits.

Despite their differences, Eilish and Finneas have forged a strong partnership, and their latest accomplishment is a testament to their musical prowess and the enduring love of their fans.
