AceShowbiz - Halle Bailey has revealed that her new music is coming really soon. The one half of musical duo Chloe x Halle surprised social media users with a snippet of her unreleased track titled "Because I Love You".
On Wednesday, August 21, the -year-old singer let her followers listen to a part of her upcoming song. Making use of her Instagram page, she treated her devotees to a video featuring the snippet. In the recording, she sang, "And it's all because I love you, babe."
Halle continued, "Love you, babe, love you, babe/ I love you, babe, love you, babe/ I motherf**king love you, babe/ Love you, babe, love you, babe/ I love you, babe/ And it's all because."
In the short clip, Halle could be seen mouthing the lyrics of the forthcoming track inside her luxury car. She was documented sitting on a passenger seat while looking at the camera. At one point, she flashed her radiant smile.
Along with the footage, Halle, who was rocking a brown tank top and layers of necklaces, announced the release date of "Because I Love You". She wrote in the caption of the post, "because i love you out 8/30 presave now link in bio."
It did not take long for the post to be flooded with supportive responses from social media users. In the comments section, one in particular gushed, "Can't lie I always chose u over a lot of singers that try to cover your songs."
Another asked, "This sounds beautiful!!!! But what about the songs you previewed on Twitter. We want 'Back and Forth'," adding a crying face emoji. A third said, "I love how you take your time and give us good music." A fourth exclaimed, "This song is definitely going to be her best song."
This was not the first time Halle teased "Because I Love You". Previously, she previewed the track during an Instagram Live. On the song, she sings, "I got drunk the other day, it was a birthday party/ Two drinks down, and I'm tryna get naughty/ Four drinks down, now I'm grabbin' on you, gnarly/ Here I go again, yeah, yeah."
