Drena's Instagram post began with a photo of the "Raging Bull" star jumping off into the water while wearing an orange and white bathing suit. The subsequent slide featured a video of De Niro's daring dive from the yacht, eliciting an exclamation of "Woah, he's so crazy" from Drena.
"Oh my god, are you alright?" she asked her father after he resurfaced. "Yeah, I'm okay," replied De Niro while swimming.
A yacht employee informed Drena that her father had jumped an impressive 36 feet from the ship to the water. Her reaction was one of awe, exclaiming, "Wow."
In addition to the video of De Niro's daring leap, Drena's tribute also included photos of her father with her late son, Leandro, who passed away at the age of 19 from an accidental overdose.
De Niro has seven children, including Drena with ex-wife Diahnne Abbott. Last year, his family experienced tragedy with the loss of Leandro. The actor expressed his deep distress following his grandson's passing. Leandro's death came a few months after the actor welcomed his youngest child Gia with girlfriend Tiffany Chen.
