AceShowbiz - Sabrina Carpenter had a minor incident during her performance at Outside Lands festival in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. The "Please Please Please" hitmaker was seen running off stage after a firework hit her in the chest mid-performance.
At the end of her set at the Saturday, August 10 gig, Sabrina got too close to the pyrotechnics. When the firework hit her in the chest, the pop star ran off stage screaming as she was flanked by dancers. Thankfully, the girlfriend of Barry Keoghan was not harmed during the incident.
During her set, Sabrina looked stunning in a black glittery leotard, fishnet stockings and platform heels. She later changed into a sparkling blue dress and shiny knee-high boots as her backup performers had a mini dance-off.
The 25-year-old musician performed her popular song "Espresso" before she surprised fans when she introduced special guest Kacey Musgraves. The former Disney Channel actress and the country star joined Carpenter for a sassy rendition of Nancy Sinatra's "These Boots Are Made For Walkin' ".
Sabrina was chosen as the last-minute headliner after Tyler, the Creator pulled out in June. Outside Lands festival marked her first headlining performance at a major festival. "I'm headlining b***h," the singer joked during her performance.
"I'm so so grateful to be here because Tyler, the Creator couldn't be," she added. "Sore subject. Too soon. Love you guys, though."
The "Nonsense" songstress also appeared to acknowledge her relationship with Barry. She asked the crowd, "Who here is in a situationship?" before adding in, "Well, I'm not." Sabrina is set to return to San Francisco with her first arena tour, in support of "Short n' Sweet" on November 9 at the Chase Center.
