AceShowbiz - Following the news of his departure from "The Rookie", actor Tru Valentino has shared his thoughts on his time on the show and hinted at a possible return.

In an Instagram story, Valentino expressed gratitude for his three seasons on the popular drama, stating, "It was such an amazing opportunity, and I feel so lucky to have had the last three seasons." He also acknowledged the show's dedicated fans, writing, "Thank you to the best fans in the world."

Though he did not provide specific reasons for his exit, Valentino hinted that his character, Aaron Thorsen, may not be seen for the last time. "You never know who may pop back up in the Mid-Wilshire precinct," he said.

Valentino joined 'The Rookie' in season 4 as a recurring character before being promoted to a series regular at the start of season 5. He portrayed Thorsen, a former TikTok star who became a police officer after being acquitted of a high-profile murder charge.

While he has not yet announced his next project, Valentino has lent his voice to various animated characters in recent years, including roles in "Spidey and His Amazing Friends", "The Croods: Family Tree" and "Beavis and Butt-Head".
