AceShowbiz - Despite being severely injured by Vecna in the season 4 finale and falling into a coma, Sadie Sink has revealed that she has been actively involved in the filming of season 5, suggesting that Max may recover. However, the details of her involvement remain shrouded in mystery.

"They love having me run," Sink teased to Variety. "That's all I'll say."

While the Duffers, the show's creators, remained tight-lipped, they also confirmed that Max "will play a part" in season 5, but declined to reveal how that is possible given her comatose state.

"She's going to play a part in the season ... but we don't want to reveal how that's possible," Ross told the outlet.

"I think [Sadie has] grown just more confident as an actor and in her choices," said Matt Duffer. "We did film a scene the other day with her that was just absolutely heartbreaking. I don't know how she hits those notes."

Despite the uncertainty, Sink has noted that Max has resonated deeply with fans, saying, "I really didn't think people would care all that much about her journey. Still, I was kind of like, 'That's cool.' "

The final season of "Stranger Things" is currently in production and is expected to release sometime in 2025.
