It has been reported that the 'Dark Horse' songstress is determined to get out in front of America and fans around the world to promote' her upcoming album '143'.

AceShowbiz - Katy Perry's next move as an attempt to return to pop stardom has been revealed. It has been reported that the "Dark Horse" songstress will embark on a world tour despite her comeback single titled "Woman's World" flopping.

On Thursday, August 8, The U.S. Sun revealed that the 39-year-old singer is "determined" to hit the road. Speaking to the media outlet, a source said, "Of course seeing 'Woman's World' fail like that feels like a kicking, but people shouldn't underestimate Katy. She is a fighter and beat the odds so often in her career to be such a major star."

The source, who claimed to have "worked with Katy's team in Las Vegas," spilled more details about the potential world tour, "Katy hoped to tour the U.S. and then head out across the world for what she expected would be a mammoth celebration. But now everyone is taking a couple of weeks to look at that live plan." Making a reference to Katy's new album "143", they continued, "Katy is determined to get out in front of America and fans around the world to promote her album."

The informant further stated, "Live shows will happen, it is now about making sure she performs at strong markets and decides on how she will tackle international [markets]." They also said that Katy "wants to get out on the road to show fans [that] not only has she still got it live, but also that her back catalog of hits is immense."

"It was not that long ago when her 'Play' residency in Vegas was seen by critics as the most fun superstar show ever on the Strip," the source explained. "Resorts World would welcome her back in a heartbeat for a new residency and other venues would throw their hat in the ring for her signature. But if that deal moves [forward] then the earliest it would come through, likely, would be late next year. She is backing herself to recapture that magic."

The revelation came after Katy reportedly made her team come up with an idea to save her musical comeback as "Woman's World" didn't perform well. According to Daily Mail, the former judge of "American Idol" demanded that her team go "back to the drawing board" so her upcoming album "143" will have a better fate.
