Lively has openly acknowledged Swift's profound impact on her life. In a video shared by Bustle, she expressed, "She was with me on this experience the whole time, all throughout it... She really lived this with me." Lively also shared that Swift is the godmother to her children with her husband, Ryan Reynolds.
In recognition of their close bond, Lively listed Swift in the credits of "It Ends With Us", along with other individuals who contributed to the film. In addition, Swift's song "My Tears Ricochet" is featured prominently in both the movie and its trailer.
Lively has also expressed admiration for Swift's role as a positive influence on women. In another video, she shared that she had been referred to as a "crown straightener" - someone who lifts other women up. "I do identify as that... I want to see people be their highest self," she stated.
