The '13 Going 30' actress reveals the secrets behind her grueling workouts and nutritious smoothie that kept her superhero-fit for her return as Elektra in 'Deadpool and Wolverine'.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Garner, the actress who recently reprised her role as Elektra in "Deadpool & Wolverine", is sharing her secrets to maintaining superhero physique. In an Instagram video, Garner demonstrated her "Elektra Smoothie," a nutrient-packed blend that she credits for fueling her energy throughout the day.
The smoothie recipe includes protein powder, ground flaxseed, chia seeds, almond butter, almond milk, spinach, ice and berries. Clinical nutritionist Kelly LeVeque assisted in developing the special mix.
In addition to her smoothie, Garner underwent intense workouts to prepare for her physical role. Her training regimen, showcased in another Instagram video, included rigorous sessions that culminated in her twirling sais in full Elektra costume.
Garner explained that she was "fit, but not @marvel fit" prior to filming. However, thanks to her dedication and the support of her co-stars Hugh Jackman, Dafne Keen, Channing Tatum, and Wesley Snipes, she was able to embody the character of Elektra once again.
"Shooting the fight was so fun, being there all together-truly like a dream. I'm proud of my friends and grateful to be up there with them," Garner said. "Deadpool & Wolverine" is currently in theaters, showcasing Garner's impressive physical transformation and the recipe for her superhero-boosting smoothie.
