AceShowbiz - French pole vaulter Anthony Ammirati went viral on Saturday, August 3 after his privates knocked down the crossbar during competition, costing him a chance at Olympic gold. The incident immediately spread like wildfire on social media, with viewers marveling at his endowment while lamenting its impact on his performance.
Now, adult entertainment company CamSoda has offered Ammirati $250,000 for a 60-minute cam show. In a letter obtained by Us Weekly, CamSoda Vice President Daryn Parker made the offer, requesting that Ammirati showcase his "goods" in exchange for the hefty pay day.
"Although you didn't bring home the gold medal, you can still capture the gold from your fans via CamSoda - that has to count for something, right?" the offer reads.
"Plus, you won't have those restrictive compression shorts holding you back, so feel free to let it all out and show the world why you should have your own Olympic competition next time around."
Ammirati has remained tight-lipped about the bulge situation, but he did speak to the French Athletics Federation about his lackluster performance. "It's a big disappointment," he said. "I'm a bit gutted because I didn't miss anything on the third attempt at 5.70m. What I did miss was a bit of jumping in training to fine-tune the settings."
Ammirati finished 12th in his heat and failed to qualify for the next round of competition. Despite the setback, Ammirati's appearance at the 2024 Paris Olympics will undoubtedly be remembered for its one-of-a-kind viral moment.
