Claiming that he's not surprised by the ongoing legal issues faced by the Bad Boy Records founder, the N.W.A member shares his theory that Diddy is 'being targeted.'

AceShowbiz - Ice Cube has weighed in on the legal woes faced by Sean "P. Diddy" Combs. Sitting down with the "PDA" podcast, the former N.W.A member shared his wild theory that the embattled hip-hop mogul's downfall is orchestrated by someone who "has the power to pull the trigger."
Claiming that he's not surprised with the news, the 55-year-old said in a Monday, July 15 episode of the podcast, "How could you be surprised with anything that happens in hip-hop? Hip-hop is the wild west. You're gonna have the good, you're gonna have the bad, you're gonna have the ugly."
Cube, whose real name is O'Shea Jackson Sr., then suggested Diddy might be victimized in this case. "I believe he's being targeted. I believe somebody has the power to pull the trigger to make this stuff just domino effect," he opined.
Later, the "Today Was a Good Day" rapper admitted he isn't informed enough on Diddy's situation, but he doubled down on his claim that the recent turn of events is all motivated by something or someone. "I don't know enough to even be able to be specific on any of this stuff. It's just all speculation. I just know he was cool up until a point and then stuff started happening so I believe somebody, like I said, said, 'Yo, he's our new guy we're onto,' " he argued.
The Diddy saga began when Cassie filed a lawsuit against him in November 2023, accusing him of rape, physical abuse and sex trafficking. They settled the lawsuit one day after it was filed, but the "I Need a Girl" rapper was later hit with other eight lawsuits. He's also under investigation for alleged sex-trafficking and is reportedly facing imminent indictment.
