AceShowbiz - In a candid interview, Matty Matheson and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, who have roles on "The Bear", have revealed details about their now-famous kiss at the 75th Annual Emmy Awards.
After "The Bear" won Outstanding Comedy Series at the ceremony in January, the two actors celebrated by sharing a passionate kiss onstage, much to the surprise of viewers.
"What was going through your head when I kissed you at the Emmys?" Ebon asked Matty. "How great your breath was, and your tongue was nice. Was I expecting that? Never," Matty replied with a deadpan expression. The actors clarified that the kiss was unplanned and done without any intention of going viral.
In addition to their discussion about the kiss, the interview also touched on their personal lives. Both Matty and Ebon have wives and children, with Matty married to Trish Spencer and Ebon to Yelena Yemchuk.
In the Emmys acceptance speech, Matty paid tribute to the restaurant industry, highlighting the challenges and rewards of working in hospitality. "We're all broken inside, and every single day we've got to show up and cook and make people feel good by eating something and sitting at a table, and it's really beautiful," he said.
The third season of "The Bear" premiered in June, and Ebon has revealed that part of season four has also been filmed. "We're going to actually turn this into two seasons and now we are going to be making 15 or 16 episodes instead of 10. But we're gonna do it all at the same time," he said.
